Welcome to Moonshine Cove Yacht Club

Established as a BC Society in June 1998, Moonshine Cove Yacht Club (MCYC) is a private, member-owned marina nestled on the north side of Mudge Island, British Columbia. Built and maintained through the vision, effort, and dedication of our volunteer members, MCYC serves as a vital gateway for our island community.

Mudge Island, located in the Northern Gulf Islands between Vancouver Island and Gabriola Island, has no ferry service or commercial shops. Everything arrives by private vessel or water transport. MCYC provides a safe, community-focused haven for its membership.

Marina & Operational Guidelines.: To ensure smooth operation and fair access for all members, MCYC operates under a set of shared principles:

Private Membership: Capped at 80 memberships; and all memberships are allocated.
Moorage: First-come, first-served; with no assigned berths. Vessels are limited to 25' length overall
Guest Privileges: Very Limited; must be requested in advance by a member.
Boat Ramp: Available to members and non-members (fee applies).
